ASTER LEE LAWSON

Aster Lee Lawson, age 80, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 in Hazard, KY.  Aster was born April 27, 1944, to the union of the late Elmer and Victoria Nichols Lawson in Hazard, KY.   Aster loved old cars and car shows. He enjoyed playing Bingo.   And his beloved dog Max.

Aster is survive by his loving companion Glenda Hayes; his daughter Crystal Gayle (Tim) France of Jeffersonville and his son Shawn Lee Lawson of Mt. Sterling;   7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and  1 sister Martha Morris of Hazard, KY.

Besides his parents, Aster was preceded in death by 3 brothers Harold Lawson, Carl Lawson and Alvin Lawson;  2 sisters Brenda Johnson and Rita Ivey.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
