Adia Moore

Adia Moore passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was a 78 year old born in Floyd County, KY to the late Hobart and Dora Adkins Moore, a homemaker and member of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Elizabeth Ball (Terry), Lucille Blevins (Roy) and Jennifer Johnson (Gregory Hollon); 3 sons, Patrick Tackett (Iris), Ricky Tackett (Chasity) and Terry Tackett; 12 grandchildren, Samantha Tackett, Dustin Tackett, Sheyenne Tackett, Amos Tackett, Natalie Tackett, Sally Tackett, Dakota Hunter, Logan Tackett, Tiara Hollon, Desiree Johnson, Halo Tackett and Eric Derossett; along with 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Adia was preceded in death by a son, a grandchild, a great grandchild, 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Ethan Pennington presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dustin Tackett, Terry Ball, Roy Blevins, Kevin Adams, Ricky Tackett and Terry Tackett.
