Albert "Cowboy" White Jr., widow of Kay Jefferson White, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling. He was an 80-year-old born in Louisville, KY to the union of the late Albert White Sr. and Flora Bell Perkins, a former employee at Hobarts, van driver for City Cab and BMT as well as a member of the Pentecostal Faith.
He is survived by a daughter; Angela White, a son; Christopher Todd White, 5 grandchildren; Brandon Mullins (Jennifer), Joshua Cornett (Mary), Elizabeth Cornett, Whitney Young (Gary) and Christopher White II (Samantha), 17 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters; Lucy Jones (Neff) and Della Sutton (Ernest), a brother; Chuck May and a special friend; Willie Cole. In addition to his wife and parents, Albert was preceded in death by a daughter; Tammy White, a sister; Leona Martin and his first wife; Dorothy Centers.
His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Ricky Meadows presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Mark Centers, Neth Jones, Stan Spence, Christopher White II, Mike Spence and Jeff Spence. Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Mullins, Joshua Cornett and CeCe Nester.
