Anna Mae (Brooks) Rowe

Anna Mae Brooks Rowe, widow of James Earl Rowe, of Means, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021.  She was a 76 year old born in Kentucky to the union of the late Courtney and Mary Brooks, a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by 8 children, James Phillip Rowe of Frenchburg, William Albert Rowe of Jeffersonville, James Earl Rowe Jr. of Means, Patricia Ann Amburgey of Frenchburg, Anthony Wayne Rowe, Michael Clay Rowe, and Kevin Lewis Rowe, all of Means, and Ruth Ann Rowe of Salt Lick, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a sister, Deloris Brooks and 3 brothers, Ed Brooks, Delbert Brooks and Elmer Brooks.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Loretta Brooks and Irene Howard and a brother, Albert Brooks and  2 sons Anthony Wayne Rowe and Willian Albert Rowe.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Arnold Lee Rose presiding, with burial to follow in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Friday.  Pallbearers are Tyler Rowe, Timothy Stamper, Michael Clay Rowe, Kevin Lewis Rowe, Matthew Rowe, Lucas Rowe, Gary Shelton, and Cody Howard.  Honorary pallbearers are Matt Ferguson, Dustin Brewer and Will Burchett.
