BENNY WAYNE CULBERTSON

Benny Wayne Culbertson, age 59, of Jeffersonville, KY, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at the St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital.  Benny was born on March 1, 1966, in Campton, KY.   Benny was a truck driver for the Walker Construction Company and a former Deputy Sheriff and Jailer in Montgomery County.  Benny loved animals…any animal. He spent as much time as he could outdoors, fishing, hunting and enjoying nature.   

Benny is survived by parents, Kenny (Bonnie) Culbertson of Frenchburg, and Patty Bullington of Jeffersonville; his son Travis Culbertson (Angie Judge) of Jeffersonville; 2 sisters Valerie (David) Wells of Means and Catrina (Jarred) Murphy of Ezel; and 1 stepsister Vickie (P.D.) Sexton of Frenchburg.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.   Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.   Officiating will be Scott Barnes.

Burial will follow at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Pallbearers: Travis Culbertson, Bob Henderson, Tyler Henderson, Andrew Wells, Kyle Wells, Kendel Culbertson.
