BEULAH CLAY (BARNES) BANKS

Beulah Clay Barnes Banks, 83, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away at home on Friday, July 3, 2026. Born January 4, 1943, in Mt. Sterling, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Della Mae Sexton Barnes. Although she worked in a factory and at Stanton CMS, her family remained her greatest priority. Beulah was of the Pentecostal faith.

Beulah is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, DecCoursey Banks of Mt. Sterling; her daughter Della Katherine Banks of Mt. Sterling; 2 sons-Timothy Ray (Rebecca) White and Floyd Thomas Banks-both of Mt. Sterling; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-Mary Ruth Patton and Barbara Jean Oaks-both of Mt. Sterling.

Besides her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Richard Barnes, James Barnes and Anthony Barnes; 3 sisters: Rita Darlene Holder, Anna Lou Wages and Ruby Mae Cundiff.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9th at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Officiated by Daniel Lykins.

Pallbearers: Josh Skidmore, Daryl West, Charlie Barnes, Chris McClain, James Barnes, David Gilvin.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kevin Perry, Brent Patton, Danny Cundiff, Rodney Sexton.

Burial to follow at Barnes Family Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY.
