Bonnie Manning Turley, age 88, of Mt. Sterling, died in her sleep on Saturday , March 1, 2025 at the Cambridge Nursing Home in Lexington. She was born August 20, 1936 in Montgomery County to Ellen Scott and Howard Manning. She was a long time member of Fellowship Christian Assembly and retired from Mt. Sterling Elementary where most of the students called her “Miss Bonnie.”
Bonnie is survived by 2 daughters Connie Stanley (Mac) Bell of Frankfort and Kim Adams of Mt. Sterling; 4 grandchildren Chris (Michelle) Holland, Kendra (Steven) Hamilton, Ben (Courtney) Adams and Morgan Adams; nine great-grandchildren Landon McGuire, Ellie McGuire, Benson Adams, Corben Adams, Ava Hamilton, Graham Hamilton, Sophia Lail, Luke Lail and Bo Lail.
Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a newborn– Sherry Ann Turley, a brother Howard Manning, Jr., 2 sisters Gertrude Summers and Eva Norris. She will be greatly missed.
A Memorial services will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Fellowship Christian Assembly. Visitation will be at 12:00 noon until service at 1:00 p.m.
