Barbara Jean (Reffitt) Coy

Barbara Jean Reffitt Coy, wife of Ronald Coy, of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021.  She was a 77 year old born in Bourbon County, Kentucky to the union of the late George W. and Lona Mae Haney Reffitt, a former phlebotomist, corrections officer and box office ticket taker.

In addition to her husband who she married March 26, 1988, she is survived by a son, Dan E. Colliver, a daughter, Misty Mitchell, a grandson, Brian J. Mitchell, and 2 sisters, Virgie Johnson and Louise Back.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Groves and a brother, Lewis Reffitt.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Lloyd Latimer presiding, with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation is 11-1:00 Thursday.
