Barbara Jean Havens, daughter of Jason Dwayne and Rhonda Jean Rose Havens, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was a 20 year old born in Clark County, Kentucky, a student and receptionist at Maysville Technical College and member of Reid Village Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Everett Dwayne (Nancy) Havens and Lois Jean Eden, her maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Geneva Rose, 6 aunts, Donna Jean (Eric) Broom, Lois (Bruce) Langenhuizen, Joyce (Ron) Fritts, Angela Crouch, Gail Harris and Dorinda Watkins, 2 uncles, Cecil (Jennifer) Crouch and Dean Harris, her surrogate parents, James and Angie Blanton, surrogate sister, Kassidy Blanton, surrogate grandparents, Larry and Christine Harris, numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles. Barbara is also survived by 2 sets of good friends; Colonel & Susan Stepenchuk and Carlie & Cindy Baker.
Her funeral will be 11:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funeral, Pastors Todd Wiley and Thomas Lester presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday. Pallbearers are Brandon Turner, Dustin Langenhuizen, Mason Harris, Logan Watkins, Jessie Watkins, Justin Blankenship, Shane Finch and Jason Havens. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Turner, Carlie Baker, Colonel Stepenchuck, Lennie McGuire, Cecil Crouch, Jimmy Adams and member of Reid Village Baptist Church.
