Barbara Ann (Roach) McGuire

BARBARA ANN ROACH MCGUIRE, 88, widow of Virgil McGuire of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Barbara was born in Salem, Ohio, on February 27, 1933, to the union of the late Paul and Ruth Crawford Roach.

Barbara was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Homemaker and precious child of God. She was a kind, virtuous, Godly woman with a welcoming heart; gracious and loving to all that entered her home. Barbara was a long standing faithful member of The Little Ella United Baptist Church, Jeffersonville, Kentucky.

She is survived by her sons: Virgil Steve McGuire (Kelly) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; Mike McGuire (Judy Shaw), Daniel Paul McGuire (Peggy) and Roger McGuire of Jeffersonville, Kentucky,

Daughters: Pam Garner (John) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky and Cindy McCormick (Denny) of Apollo Beach, Florida

Stepson: George McGuire (Margaret) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky

Also surviving is one brother Jim Roach and his wife Janice of Salem, Ohio. In addition to a host of special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Virgil McGuire, her parents John and Ruth Crawford Roach, her infant son Ballard and one brother, Stanley Roach.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1:00p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, 1002 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, with Elder Arthur McGuire officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Burial will be in the McGuire Family Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Kentucky.

Pallbearers: Michael McGuire, Jonathan Garner, Jordan Harvey, Steven Ray McGuire, Michael Justice, Billy Paul McGuire and Josh Corey.
