Bertha Evelyn (Little) Richmond

Bertha Evelyn Richmond, widow of Oscar Eugene Richmond, from Sharpsburg, KY passed away Sunday, January 22,2023 at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her passing at her daughter's home in Mt. Sterling, KY. Bertha was born June 1, 1939, in Peasticks, KY to parents Della (Jefferson) Little and Alfred Little.

She is survived by 3 sons, Johnny Eugene Richmond, James Ora (Penny) Richmond, and Jackie Wayne Richmond, and 2 daughters, Judetta (Jackie) Marshall, and Janice (David) Curd. Along with her children, she is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Oscar Eugene Richmond, 1 daughter, Joetta Richmond, and 2 sons, Jesse Merle Richmond and Jake Alfred Richmond, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and 4 stepchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1:00p.m Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00p.m to  8:00p.m on Tuesday, January 24 at the Funeral Home.
