Betty (Hopkins) Miller

Betty Hopkins Miller, of Jeffersonville, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021.  She was a 67 year old born in West Liberty, Kentucky to the union of  James Donald Hopkins and Laura Ruth Penix Hopkins Perkins, a retired employee from Boneal and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Elam-Jewell (Michael Smith), a son, Jamie (Tina) Hopkins, 6 grandchildren, Kristan Elam, Nicholas Elam, Joshua (Brooke) Elam, Matthew (Jessica) Elam, Braxton Hopkins and Trevor Hopkins, 11 great-grandchildren, Chandler Quarles, Lillian King, Callista King, Cannon Lawson, Caselyn Elam, Harmony Elam, Ryker Elam, Arabella Elam, Harper Elam, Landon Elam and Addison Roland, 10 siblings, Lawson Perkins, Jeannie Howard, Virginia Patrick, Donnie Hopkins, Robin Hopkins, Edward Hopkins, Vaughn Hopkins, Garland Hopkins, Gerald Hopkins and Bobby Hopkins, many nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Jeff Sewart. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Hopkins, 2 sisters, Dorothy Blair and Cynthia Williams and a son-in-law, Mark Elam.

Her funeral will be 2:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Hoss Prater presiding, with burial in Brown Cemetery.  Visitation is 12-2:00 Friday.
