Betty Jean (Whitaker) Wells

Betty Jean Whitaker Wells, wife of Dannie Wells, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at her residence in Means, KY. She was a 72 year old native of Montgomery County, born to the union of the late William and Loretta Sexton Whitaker. Betty was a sales associate with Family Dollar, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a Christian member of Hope First Church of God.

Betty is survived by her husband; Dannie Wells, a son; Chris Wells (Jennifer), a daughter-in-law; Billie Ann Wells, 4 grandchildren; Morgan Wells, Katie Wells, Carter Wells and Austin Wells and a brother; Dennis Whitaker (Norma Jean). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Daniel Brent Wells and 8 brothers.

Her funeral will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Bro. Glenn Sizemore presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
