Boyd Keeton Jr., husband of Alice Armine Minix Keeton, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at his residence in Jeffersonville, KY. He was an 81 year old born in Magoffin County, KY to the late Boyd Keeton Sr. and Auda Hammond Keeton, a former heavy equipment operator, farmer and member of the Samaria Regular Primitive Baptist Church of the Burning Springs Association.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Keeton; 2 sons, Lowell Keeton (Judy) and Doyle Keeton (Lisa); 5 grandchildren, Carrie Reed (Justin), Alison Lykins (Daniel), Travis Keeton, Melanie Jefferson (Brandon), and Ashley Kelly (Gary); 13 great grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Landon Wilson, Jaycie Lykins, Nolan Lykins, Bristol Keeton, Adra Keeton, Cooper Keeton, Ethan Chaney/Kelly, Aria Kelly, Jack Jefferson, Lane Jefferson, Norah Jefferson and Natalie Jefferson; 2 sisters, Anna Mary Howard (Akel) and Ava Nell McKinney; along with a brother, James Ova Keeton. In addition to his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Mae Alexander; and 5 brothers, Clayton Keeton, John Riley Keeton, Oral Keeton, Aaron Keeton and Clarence Keeton.

His funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Elders Ricky Holbrook and David Gamble presiding with burial to follow in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Boyd's nephews.
