Buford Cantrell

Buford Cantrell passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, KY. He was a 91 year old born in Magoffin County, KY to the late Willie and Myrtle Katherine Smith Cantrell, a farmer and member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by a brother, Charlie Cantrell; a sister, Ruie Fay Cantrell; and several nephews. In addition to his parents, Buford was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Cantrell; and 2 sisters, Wanda Smith and Felcie Wright.

His funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, with burial to follow in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are William Wright, Junior Cantrell, Anthony Ray Gamble, Ricky Cantrell, Linville Ray Gamble and Charlie Cantrell.
