CARL LEDFORD MILES

Carl Ledford Miles, age 73, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, July 7, 2025. Carl was born in Middletown, Ohio, to the union of the late John and Katherine Harvey Miles on July 24, 1951.  Carl was retired from FedEx where he worked as a truck driver.

Carl is survived by his wife Mary Durkin Miles of Mt. Sterling; 1 daughter Carla (Chad) Ferguson of Mt. Sterling; 2 grand children Brittany Abner and Taylor Ferguson; 1 brother Jesse Miles of Stanton; 1 sister Sharon Gukeisen of Mt. Sterling and special friends Duane and Tammy Hollon.

Besides his parents, Carl was preceded in death by 4 brothers Claude Miles, Jerry Miles, Larry Miles, Mark Miles and 1 sister Barbara Jean Miles.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals Chapel.   
visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.    Officiating will be Robbie Conn.

Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Taylor Ferguson, Jacob George, Jacob Hollon, David Hollon, Duane Hollon, Daryl Harvey.
