Onley Christopher Marcum, age 59, of Stanton, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Lexington, KY. Christopher was born in Irvine, KY on November 23, 1966, to the late Onley Earl and Alweena Ratliff Marcum. Christopher came from a large family and knew the meaning of hard work. He worked at Martina Brothers in Lexington with granite and marble for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. He was an avid UK sports fan and golf player.
Christopher is survived by his 2 daughters: Alexis Horn of Mt. Sterling and Tiffany Martin of Mt. Sterling: a bonus daughter Bridgett Horn of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren: Aubrey, Brantley, Seth, Cameron, Jordan, Haily, Kayline, Alyssa, Cayden and Matthias; his companion of 30 years-Lisa Rison of Powell County; 2 brothers: Ed Marcum of Irvine and Johnny Marcum of Versailles; 4 sisters: Phyllis Rigsby of Versailles, Patricia Guth of Winchester, Ellen Perkins of Winchester, Donna Clasen of Florida; several nieces and nephews; 4 step-children: Jamie Borders, Roy Rison, Josh Rison and Jacob Borders; 8 step-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by 3 brothers: David Marcum, Roger Marcum and Stevie Marcum; 5 sisters: Lisa Bittany, Tonya Marcum, Tina Marcum, Loretta Curtis and Rachael Marcum.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3rd at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Officiated by Stephen Donathan.
