Cecil Clark Shrout, Jr.

Cecil Clark Shrout, Jr., husband of Kathy Anderson Shrout, passed away on July 27, 2024 in Owingsville, KY.  He was born on August 28, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the union of the late Cecil Clark Shrout and Dainty Rose Pieratt Hedger of Mt. Sterling.   He was a truck driver for Mriya Trucking of Kent, Washington.

Besides his wife and mother, he is also survived by two daughters, Serena (Jay Miller) Shrout of Owingsville, and Cathy (Peggy) Maney of Wolfe County, one son, James (Kim) Maney of Frenchburg, a brother Clay (Tena) of Mt. Sterling, ten grandchildren, Jamie, Kristopher, Alex, Danielle, Christina, Katherine, Shane, Rachelle, Steven, and Terri, four great grandchildren, Kaidence, Damien, Jasper, and Sebastian. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Pernell Shrout, and grandson, Johnathan Mason.

His funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals chapel with Brother David Campbell officiating. Visitation is 6-8 pm on Tuesday, July 30.  Burial will be at Wyatt Cemetery located on Howards Mill Rd.

Pallbearers are Jason Miller, Shane Davis, Steven Kissick, James Maney, Joe Hagerman, and Mason Townsend.
