Charles Howard Martin

Charles Howard Martin, husband of Mary Jo Kendrick Martin, of Jeffersonville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020. He was an 86 year old born in Montgomery County to the union of the late Charles and Sarah Coldiron Martin, a farmer and a member of the Baptist Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 daughters, Elizabeth Martin Chandler, Brenda Martin Williams, Sharon Martin, and Jennifer Martin, 2 sons, David and Danny Martin, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Marie Little. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Oscar, Dillard, Dorse, and Johnson Martin, as well as 4 sisters, Cora, Armina, Daisy, and Mary Martin.

His funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday. Pallbearers are Zach Martin, Daniel Martin, Travis Bailey, Jeremy Martin, Michael Martin, James Michael Martin, Mason Knell, Kevin Martin, and David Martin.
