Charles Ernest Sutton, husband of Della May Sutton, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at his residence in Mount Sterling, KY. He was a 74 year old born in Montgomery County, KY to the late Willie and Rosa Smoot Sutton, a carpenter and member of Abundant Life Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Della Sutton; 2 sons, Timothy Sutton (Vicki) and Jeff Sutton (Jennifer Andress); 2 daughters, Drema Cline and Katrina Williams (Tim); 15 grandchildren, Lily Sutton, Lindsey Sutton, Jennifer Lawill, T.J. Sutton, Jake Sutton, Burley Sutton, Elmer Sutton, Hope Sutton, Tiffany Caudill, Troy Sutton, Michael Manns, Shella Manns, Emily Conner, Miranda Williams, Callie Williams and Kinsey Tyra; 15 great grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley McVey. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Charles Earnest Sutton Jr.; a grandson, Chris Manns; 5 sisters, Janet Willoughby, Betty Jo Sutton, Mae Adams, Thelma Whitt and Wilma Sutton; along with 2 brothers, Richard Sutton and William Sutton.

His funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Ricky Meadows presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tim Williams, Jake Sutton, T.J. Sutton, Michael Manns, Cecil Colliver and Nick Caudill.
