DAVID WAYNE TIPTON

David Wayne Tipton, age 47, of Jeffersonville, passed away at home surrounded by family after a long illness on June 10, 2025.  David was born in Lexington KY to Larry and Charlene Willoughby Tipton on August 22, 1977.  David worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator.  David was of the Christian faith.

David is survived by his parents Larry and Charlene Tipton;  2 daughters Schyler (Skyler) Martin, and Sydney Tipton; his son Gabriel Tipton; 2 grandchildren Kohyn and Karsyn Martin;  his sister Christina (David Jr.) Caywood; his grandmother Geneva Willoughby; 1 nephew David Caywood III (Bub); 2 special nieces Alexis and Alyssa Canter.

David was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Walker Sydney Tipton, an infant.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Martin-Willoughby Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Pallbearers: David Caywood, Jr., David Caywood III, Skyler Martin, Bobby Tubbs, Gabriel Tipton, Charles Caywood.
