Debbie Shultz Norris, age 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away peacefully at UK Bluegrass Hospice surrounded by close family on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.  Debbie was born June 1, 1953 to the union of the late Morton F. “Donnie” Shultz and Evelyn Roberts Shultz. Debbie retired from the Montgomery County School system and Evelyn’s Flowers.  Debbie lived an amazing life and doted on her family and friends.  Debbie was a member of the Bethesda Church.  It is because of her unwavering faith, we are comforted knowing she is once again healthy and with our Lord and Savior. 

Debbie is survived by her loving husband Donnie Norris of Mt. Sterling;  her mother Evelyn Roberts Shultz of Mt. Sterling; her daughter Cassie Prather (John) of Versailles; her son Brian Hudson of Mt. Sterling; 1 brother Brady Shultz of Mt. Sterling;  1 step daughter Robin Norris of Lexington;  11 grandchildren-Macy, Ava, Gracyn, Harper, Hadley, Hudson, Hagan, Harrison, McKenzie, Hunter J and Evan;  2 great grandchildren Jack and Owen. She is also survived by her beloved pets Maggie & Molly.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Paul Prather.

Burial will follow at the Machpelah Cemetery.
