Della Fay Pitts Neidig, 79, of Oregonia, Ohio, formerly of Montgomery County, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born May 11, 1947, in Kingston, Ohio, to the late Hillard and Mabel McGuire Pitts. Della devoted her life to caring for her family and cherishing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had the heart of an artist and enjoyed creating many things.

Della is survived by her loving husband, James Neidig; 2 daughters: Cassie (Darrell) Williams of Oregonia, Ohio and Patty (Jesse) Sands of Jeffersonville, KY; 1 son-Jim (Chyanne) Neidig of Jeffersonville, KY; 6 grandchildren: D.J. Williams, Jennifer (Danny) Sands, Kasey Neidig, Kelsey (Brandon) Burton, Tyler (Missy) Neidig and Allie (Josh) Sands; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Nancy (Freddy) Campbell, Lenora (Jr.) Martin and Maurice (Tom) Parker; 2 brothers: Dave (Carolyn) Pitts and Larry (Peggy) Pitts.

Other than her parents, Della was preceded in death by 1 brother-Duwayne Pitts and his wife Jane Pitts.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3rd at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 2nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart.  Officiating will be Steve, Roger & Hammer McGuire.

Burial to follow at McGuire Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY.
