DOUGLAS BOYD WELLS

Douglas Boyd Wells, age 62, of Sharpsburg, KY passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026. Doug was born July 31, 1963, in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Jimmy and Virginia Robinson Wells.  Doug was proud to have served his country in the Army during Desert Storm.  He worked hard as a farmer and truck driver to support his family. Doug loved spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren and his dogs.

Doug is survived by his loving wife Donna Wilson Wells of Sharpsburg; 3 sons: Jeramy Wells of Farmers, KY, Thomas (Talita) Wells of Augusta, GA and Evan Wells of Sharpsburg; 6 grandchildren: Reagan, Payton, Brady of Owingsville, KY and Soren, Blaise and Philip of Augusta, GA; 1 great grandson-Tyler Wells; 1 sister-Teresa (Gary) Lemaster of Sharpsburg;

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13th, 1:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Jerry Engle and Mark Collier.

Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sharpsburg, KY.  Full Military Rites by the Mt. Sterling American Legion, Post 22.

Pallbearers: Larry Lee, Mark Collier, Thomas Wells, Jeramy Wells, Evan Wells, Garrett Short, Brady Wells, Soren Wells.
