Della (Tabor) Davis

Della Tabor Davis, widow of James "Punkin" Davis, of Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was a 78 year old native of Montgomery County, born to the union of the late Woodford and Ressie Alsept Tabor, a former employee of A.O. Smith and member of Little Easter Church. 

She is survived by a daughter; Sharon Davis (Travis Carpenter), a son; Tony Daivis, 2 grandsons; James Christopher Davis (Kayla) and Derek Allen Jones (Megan), 2 great-grandchildren; Jacob Allen Jones and Abigail Davis, in addition to a special niece; Brittany Davis. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; Jackie Davis, a sister; Faye Culbertson, a brother; Paul Tabor, and a nephew; Bobby Dwayne Tabor. 

Della's funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Brothers Bobby Tabor, Steve and Roger McGuire presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemtery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are: Derek Jones, Chris Davis, Brian Tabor, Paul Tabor Jr., Adam Tabor and Bradley Tabor. 

Honorary Pallbearers are: Johnnie H. Tabor, Kirby Tabor, Johnnie Tabor, Billy Tabor, Bobby Tabor, Marvin Tabor, Travis Carpenter, Oakley Montgomery and Wendell Culbertson.
