Delma Amburgey Obituary

Delma Dale Amburgey, widow of Robert "Bob" Amburgey, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. She was an 81 year old native of Bath County, daughter of the late Effie Gilvin and Leslie Dale, a former employee at Cowdens and a member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Donna (Less) Howard of Mt. Sterling, 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Michelle Baker (Kurth Roland) and Robert Clay Baker Jr. (Rachel), 2 great-granddaughters, Avayla Kenzly Roland and River Jean Baker, as well as 2 brothers, Billy and Gilbert Dale. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Cecil and Johnny Dale.

Her funeral will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 9 Tuesday.
