Donald Brenton Curtis passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville, KY. He was a 56 year old born in Montgomery County to the late John and Mary Sexton Curtis, a cashier at Wal-Mart for over 28 years and member of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Frances Allen (Randy) and Gracie Coyle; 5 brothers, Thomas Sexton (Sue), Rodney Sexton, James Curtis (Pamela), Russell Curtis and Michael Curtis (Debbie); 2 special nieces, Brittany Coyle and Ashley Ratliff; along with numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Flora Sexton; as well as his paternal grandparents, James and Lucy Bowles Curtis.
His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Ricky Meadows presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Rodney Sexton, Jason Sexton, J.D. Allen, Scott Allen, Gabe Allen, Terry Leach and Micheal Clemons.
Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
