Dora Miles Obituary

Dora Frances Briscoe Miles, widow of Billy Ray Miles Sr., passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was a 75 year old born in Powell County, KY to the late Roscoe and Mildred Strange Briscoe, a homemaker and member of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Miles; 2 sons, Billy Ray Miles Jr. and Barry Miles; 3 grandchildren, Kelly Miles, Morgan Miles, and Robert Miles; 6 great grandchildren, Lincoln Thorne, Spencer Thorne, Colton Miles, Maddisyn Miles, Jackson Miles, and Maddox Slone; a sister, Linda Tabor; and 2 brothers, Everett Ginter and James Ginter. In addition to her husband and parents, Dora was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Miles; a sister, Ethel Markland; and a brother, Tommy Briscoe.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
