Doris Loy Obituary

Doris "Dottie" Loy, widow of Jack Loy, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling. She was an 86 year old born in Havre, Montana to the union of the late John B. Overcast and Helen M. Forbes, a former dispatcher for City Gas Co. and member of the First Christian Church.

Doris is survived by 2 special nieces; Jill Ash (Roger) and Fawn Simeone, a God-daughter; Michelle Hopkins (Robbie), 2 sisters; Irene Stuart (Reid) and Diana Shipton, several other nieces and nephews, as well as her special companion; her dog, Benji. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother; Darrell Overcast, a sister; Dora Mae Signore, 2 half-brothers; Gene and Joe Wilson, along with 2 long-time friends; Donald and Jaydell Means.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
