Dorothy Faye Anness

Dorothy Faye Anness, of Jeffersonville, formerly of Jonesville, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023.  She was a 72-year-old, born in Grant County, Kentucky to the union of the late Robert and Zella Turner Anness. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker who loved to fish, cook, bake and spend time with her family.  She was loved by many.

She is survived by 2 sons, Charles Conkright and Jeff (Victoria) Smith, 3 grandchildren, Mary Trujillo, Tony Trujillo and Larry Trujillo, 3 sisters, Jeannette Anness Clark (Darrell), Barbara Palacias (Miguel), and Rosemary Anness Neal (Bill), special friend, Fred Lopez and her significant other, Dale Agee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Allen Smith, a sister, Betty Anness Rarrick and a brother, Robert Anness.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Robbie Conn presiding, with burial to follow in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation is 6-8:00 Monday.  Pallbearers are Jeff Smith, Darrell Clark, Elbert Soles, Jason King, Jeff Woodard and Jeremy Dean Harris.  Honorary pallbearers are Gregory Allen Lee Clark, Warren Rogers, Travis Culbertson, Lawrence Crabtree, Chris Lawson, Robert Michael Webster and Chester Ray Crabtree.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
