Dorothy Mae (Martin) Conkright

Dorothy Mae Martin Conkright, widow of Albro Conkright, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019.  She was an 86 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Everett and Nora Neal Martin, former sales clerk, and member of Hope First Church of God.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Janet (Rick) Mullins and Jennifer (Roger Jr.) Ingram, 4 sons, David (Alice) Conkright, James (Donna) Conkright, Roger (Audrey) Conkright and Jeff (Melissa) Conkright, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters, Callie Martin, Wanda Myers and Pauline George.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, 4 brothers and a grandson.

Her funeral will be 11:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Glenn Sizemore and Pastor Stanley Hutchinson presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday.  Pallbearers are Josh Conkright, Aaron Conkright, Rodney Mullins, Eric Conkright, Skyler Martin and Hunter Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Wood and Ben Conkright.
