Dorothy Willoughby, 99, of Jeffersonville, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was a 99 year old born in Clark County to the union of the late Floyd and Sarah Haggard Willoughby, a retiree from Cowden Manufacturing and member of Powell Valley Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by 5 sons; Gary Willoughby (Arlene), Kenneth Willoughby (Janet), Fred Willoughby (Billie Jo0, Keith Willoughby (Ramona) and Robert "Bob" Willoughby (Imma), 9 grandchildren; Kim Page (Wes), Kelly Willoughby, Amy Burge, Kristi White, Robert Willoughby Jr., Heather Stamm (Brent), Ethan Willoughby (Cortney), Amanda Sparger (Jason) and Jordan Willoughby (Jaime), 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a brother; Harold Willoughby. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson; Benjamin Willoughby and 4 sisters; Beulah Barnett, Katherine Bowen, Thelma Smith and Molly Wise.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Gary Willoughby presiding, with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Pallbearers are Rob Willoughby, Tanner Willoughby, Ethan Willoughby, Jordan Willoughby, Brent Stamm and Jason Sparger.
