EDWARD CORNWELL

Edward Cornwell, 73, of Menifee County, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born October 20, 1952, in Frenchburg to the late Dallas Cornwell. Edward worked hard as a farmer to provide for his family and was of the Christian faith. An avid Harley motorcycle enthusiast, he built several motorcycles from the ground up and also enjoyed fabricating hot rods.

Edward is survived by 2 daughters: Cyndy (Keith) Martin of Olaton, KY and Angela Cornwell of Menifee Co.; 3 grandchildren: Cody Martin, Bryanna Rice and Hunter Davis; 9 great grandchildren: Gabriel, Amaya, Kaleb, EllieAnne, Ember, Jaren, Luka, Paisley and Kinley.

Other than his father, Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Blakeman Cornwell.

Funeral services will be 4:45 p.m. July 9th at Antioch Christian on 3800 Bedford Road, Mt. Sterling.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Officiating will be Keith Martin.  

Burial to follow at Byrd Cemetery on Salt Lick Road.

Pallbearers: Cody Martin, Keith Martin, Angela Cornwell, Hunter Davis, Jordan Rice, Donald Holbrook.
