Edward Earl Hatfield

Edward Earl Hatfield, 52, of Jeffersonville, KY finished his race on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the arms of "his girls" after a long hard battle with cancer. 

He was born in Paintsville, KY on March 8, 1969, son of the late Ora James and Joyce Faye Hatfield. He is survived by his faithful wife; Paula Hatfield, his children whom he adored; Brandon Earl and Kyra Suzanne Hatfield as well as a niece he called his own; Taylor Dawn Rowland. Eddie is also survived by his loving siblings; Linda (John) Myers, of North Manchester, IN, James (Connie) Hatfield, of Sharpsburg, KY, Rita Tackett, of East Point, KY, Donna (Rick) Johnson, of Englewood, FL, Hank Hatfield, of Sharpsburg, KY, Velma (Bruce) Gulitz, of North Port, FL, Clinton (Sandy) Hatfield, of Salyersville KY, Wanda Hatfield of Mt. Sterling, KY and a whole host of special nieces, nephews, in-laws, church family and friends. He also had a faithful dog; Max, who never left his side. 

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Marion and Richard Hatfield, a sister; Thelma Hatfield, a brother in law; Jimmy Dean Tackett, a niece; Laneata Marie Trent, and nephew; James Henry Hatfield. 

Eddie was a member of Restoration Community Church in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was also a friendly face at Caudill Truss and Metal for 20 years. He loved life and was a faithful friend to many. He was loving, kind, funny and always looking out for the needs of others. He endured so much to try to live, but finally received his healing in the arms of Jesus. 

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Restoration Community Church with burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are: Brandon Hatfield, Chris Hatfield, Coty Hatfield, Ernest Hatfield, Henry Rowland, Jeremy Hatfield, Roy Gray and Andrew Castle. 

Honorary Pallbearers are: James Hatfield, Hank Hatfield, Clinton Hatfield, Rick Jones, Brian Shepherd, Jeremy Patrick and Billy Earl Wagoner.
