Edward "Eddie" B. Combs Jr.

Eddie Combs Jr. passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was a 67 year old born in Perry County, KY to the late Edward Sr. and Gladys Brewer Combs, a lover of bluegrass music, sight seeing and engaging in lots of activities.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Nancy Centers (Ron), Sandy Combs and Janice Johnson (Amos); 2 brothers, George Combs and James Combs (Brenda); 2 nephews, Rockie Johnson and Nathan Johnson (Amelia); along with a great nephew, Wyatt Johnson. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Irvin Combs and Billy Ray Combs; and a nephew, James Earl Combs.

His funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Evangelist David Dodd presiding with burial to follow in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
