Elaine Karen Hill Hixon, widow of Randy Hixon, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a 68 year old born in Paintsville, Kentucky to the union of the late Bruce and Irshla Cantrell Hill, a former homemaker.

Elaine is survived by 2 children; Melissa Goodan and Christopher Cantrell, 4 grandchildren; J.D. Rice, Hannah Goodan, Haley Goodan and Whitley Elaine Cantrell, 1 great-grandchild; Kellen James Carper, and 1 sister; Deloris Hill.

There will be a celebration of life held at Jeffersonville Assembly of God on Saturday, October 23, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Robbie Conn presiding.

Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.
