Elijah Wesley Herald

Elijah Wesley Herald passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at his residence in Owingsville, KY. He was a 46 year old born in Kankakee, IL to Mary Elizabeth Johnson Abney and the late Ronald James Herald, a peer support specialist and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Stanton, KY.

He is survived by a daughter, Natalia Herald; his mother, Mary Abney (Jimmy); a brother, Troy Herald (Tina); an aunt, Chrystal Herald; a step daughter, Aubree Thorpe; his step mother, Shirley Herald; 3 step siblings, Johnny Abney (Dana), Charity Adkins (Brian) and Adam Adkins (Ebie); along with serveral aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Elijah was preceded in death by is father, Ronald James Herald; his paternal grandparents, Roy and Marie Herald; and his maternal grandparents, Gunnard and Phidora Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
