(Betsy) Elizabeth Fleming (Meyer), passed away peacefully at 10:45 PM on September 23rd, 2022.
She had a few different names: Betsy, Elizabeth, Grandma, Great grandma. To us all, her life did not seem long enough, for those of us who were blessed to be touched by her spirit, understand the imprint she left on us.
She loved many things, but she was a master at gardening. When Elizabeth wasn't working at the many libraries across her home state, she could be found in her backyard, picking veggies and freezing them away for the upcoming winter season. Aside from gardening, her free time consisted mostly of traveling, cooking and hosting parties. She loved people.
Not a day went by where Elizabeth didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her – she had many, many great achievements in life, but her family was arguably what she was most proud of.
Born on October 18th, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Elvia and Ira Meyer
Predeceased by her loving husband, Bryan Fleming
Lovingly survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Reed and Kimberly Johnson. Grandchildren Michael King, Mickey Hohn, Hannah Johnson, Katherine Johnson, Jenna Easterwood and Alex Easterwood. Great grandchildren, Brayden King and Roman King.
