Elizabeth McCall Witt, widow of Dudley E. Witt, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling. She was a 93 year old born in Bourbon County to the union of the late Howard and Maggie Howard McCall, a former merchant at Witt Grocery and member of Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by a son; Dudley Ricky Witt (Deborah), 2 daughters; Priscilla Faye Otis and Regina Gayle Hurst (Barry), 2 granddaughters; Alicia Faye Erwin (Tyler) and Jennifer Lyn Smedley (Matt), 2 grandsons; Ricky Joe Witt (Deborah) and Jason Edward Witt, 7 great grandchildren; Makayla Gail Witt (Dalton Stevens), Skyler Myers, Derek Butcher, Lukas Witt, Taylin Myers, Aubree Witt and Wyatt Lee Erwin, and 2 sisters; Velma Wilson and Lorean Imhoff. In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Tracy Lynn Myers, a sister; Lillian McIntosh and 2 son-in-laws; Raymond Otis and Larry Thompson.
Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor John Kohr presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the funeral home.
