Ella Raye Miles Willoughby, age 90, went home to be with Jesus on August 28, 2024. Born March 20, 1934, to the union of Morgan and Suzanne Neal Miles. Ella was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, KY.
Ella loved Jesus, her family, and was a member of the Pentecostal House of Deliverance Church for many years. She loved to sing in church (which she did just about every Sunday morning!) She was a faithful prayer warrior; she would pray for anyone at any time. She loved flowers, especially yellow roses. Ella was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She is a retired greeter at Walmart for 27 years.
Ella is survived by one son, Tony Lewis Willoughby, two daughters, Delina Saylor, and Darlene (David) Donathan all of Mt. Sterling. Thirteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ella is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willis C. Willoughby, one daughter Mary (Sissy)(Ed) Bramel, two sons Bobby (Bubby)(Robin) Willoughby and Michael (Mike)(Beverly) Willoughby. Her brothers OC, Shirley Neal, Cecil, Arthur Clay, Dallas Barnes, Jimmy Miles, John Ledford Miles, and Raymond Miles. Three sisters, Opal Neal, Lena Mae Lamon, and Edna Clay Ingram. Three stepbrothers, Tommy, Shirley, and Irvine Becraft. Ella deeply loved all her brothers and sisters; she was the baby girl and the last one of this dear family.
Pallbearers: Tony C Willoughby, James Spencer, Daniel Bramel, Billy Miles, Jo Spencer, Kelly Miles, and Alicia Burden.
Honorary Pallbearers: Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Herald and Stewart Chapel on September 3, 2024; officiated by Russel Morton Ingram. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. With the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery.
