Ernest Martin, husband of Susan R. Martin, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his residence in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was a 74 year old born in Montgomery County to the union of the late Kirk and Dorothy Swartz Martin, an Army Veteran, farmer and member of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Susan R. Martin; 3 children, Alesia Elliott Brandenburg, Matthew Ray Martin and LaDonna Smith; 2 brothers, John Clay "Bud" Martin (Marsha) and Kirk W. Martin Jr. (Lenora); along with 3 sisters, Carrie Hayes, Ann Berger and Brenda Poore. In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Martin and Larry Martin; as well as 3 sisters, Lois Berger, Judy Carol Lawson and Shirley Gene Martin.

A graveside service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 in the Martin Cemetery on Grassy Lick Road.
