Evelyn Ruth (Turner) Gilvin

Evelyn Ruth Gilvin passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was an 87 year old born in Montgomery County to the union of the late Elmer and Alberta Utterback Turner, a former factory worker and member of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Karen Gilvin and Phyllis Watkins, 2 sons; David Elmer Gilvin and Barry Lee Gilvin, 9 grandchildren; Randy Gilvin, Brian Gilvin, Gary Esteppe, David Gilvin Jr., William Gilvin, Michael Gilvin, Joshua Reed, Jeremy Reed and Elizabeth Hall, several great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Alleen Hedges McCarty (Elmer) and Wilma Jean Curtis (Ledford), along with 2 brothers; Bobby Farris Turner and Alfred Turner (Faye). In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Glen Gilvin, a grandson, David Allen Esteppe and 2 brothers; Jack Clay Turner and Roy Leon Turner.
