FRANCES (MULLINS) MOORE

Frances Moore, age 89, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at Mt. Sterling Health & Rehab. Frances was born December 23, 1936, in Bradfordville, KY to the late Les and Lora Mullins Morgeson. If you ever shopped at J.C. Penney, you most likely met Frances at the Jewelry counter. She never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone. Frances was a faithful member of the 1st Church of God in Mt. Sterling.

Frances is survived by her husband, Ewell Thomas Moore of Mt. Sterling; 2 sons Jim (Sheila) Wooley of Morehead and Gary (Sandy) Wooley of Mt. Sterling; 2 grandsons: J.P. (Charla) Wooley and Kyle (Leah) Wooley; 1 great grandson-Kaden Wooley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her sister Irene Hefner and 3 brothers: Clarence Morgeson, Buster Morgeson and Perry Morgeson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14th at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be David Dooley.

Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY.

Pallbearers: J.P. Wooley, Kyle Wooley and friends and family.
