Frances Pauline (Donathan) Frazier

Frances “Sassy” Donathan Frazier, 81, of Montgomery County, went to be with her Lord and
Savior on September 21st at her home in Hope, KY.
Born January 20th, 1943, She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Jennie Ray Donathan. A
devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to her family and home. She was a diligent
caregiver, School Bus Monitor and Cafeteria Cook for the Montgomery County School System
from where she retired. A real example of true grit, though faced with adversity she always
came out as triumphant. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all her friends and
family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Jackie Frazier; daughter Teresa Jamison
(Scottie) of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Darriel “DJ” Jamison and Josh Jamison (Kaylyn) of
Mt. Sterling; great-grandchildren, Laylynn, Clayton, and Aiden.

She is also survived by five brothers and two sisters, Charlie Donathan (Bonnie) of Mt. Sterling,
Arnold Donathan of Jeffersonville, Earl Donathan (Ida) of Mt. Sterling, Herbert Donathan
(Bobbie) of Jeffersonville, David Donathan (Darlene) of Mt. Sterling, Vandetta Browning (Larry)
of Mt. Sterling, Joyce Jones (Donnie) of North Middletown. And a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Tony Lee Frazier and Dana
“Punk” Ray Frazier; a sister Emma Donathan Caldwell; two sister-in-laws, Lois “Tootie” Frazier
Donathan and Catherine Donathan; two nephews Jeff Caldwell and Travis Wayne Browning.
Visitation will be conducted Monday, September 23rd at 12 O’Clock at the Herald and Stewart
Chapel in Mt. Sterling. Funeral Services will start at 2 O’Clock. Les Ingram will be officiating.
Burial will follow in the Little Slate Cemetery in Hope, KY.

Donathan, Donnie Jones Jr.
