Geneva Mae (Lykins) Rose Obituary
Geneva Mae Lykins Rose, wife of Ronnie Eugene Rose, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was a 75 year old native of Bath County, daughter of the late Stanley Curtis and Ethel Culbertson Lykins, a homemaker and member of Donaldson Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 daughters, Lois (Bruce) Langenhuizen, Joyce Gail (Ron) Fritz, Angela Crouch and Rhonda (Jason) Havens, a son, Cecil (Jennifer) Crouch, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jimmy (Ann) Lykins, and 5 sisters, Ruby (Wayne) Centers, Claire (the late Ellis) Little, Georgie (the late Doug) Becraft, Doris Gay Jones, and Reva (the late Rick) Pitts and a sister in heart, Judy Rudd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Crouch, a son-in-law, William "Billy" Turner, a granddaughter, Barbara Jean Havens, 7 brothers, Bill Lykins, Larry Lykins, Winfred Lykins, Roger Lykins, Remis Lykins, Ben Lykins, and Gene Lykins, and 2 sisters, Marie Mann and Mary Lykins.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Red Lick Baptist Church, 601 Red Lick Road, Berea, Kentucky, 40403, with burial in Haydon Rose Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals and 11-1:00 Thursday at the church. Pallbearers are Cecil Crouch, Dustin Langenhuizen, Bruce Langenhuizen, Brandon Turner, Jason Turner, Cameron Hall, Donnie Jones and Kenny Jones.
