Georgia Martin Obituary

Georgia Lee Goodpaster Martin, widow of John Robert Martin, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020. She was a 91 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Richard and Nannie Donaldson Goodpaster, a retired restaurant manager and member of Gateway Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Bob (Suzanne) Martin, a daughter, Deborah Crouch, 4 grandchildren, Robert Keith Crouch, Brandon Crouch, Benjamin Martin and Jessica Burton, 4 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Crouch, Hayden Crouch, Jackson Burton and Isaiah Crouch, and several nieces and nephews.

Her graveside service will be 1:00 Friday at Machpelah Cemetery, Pastor Hoss Prater presiding. Pallbearers will be nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to a "special angel", Dana Velasco, and the nurses and CNA at Windsor Care Center.
