Goldie Fraley Berger, wife of Earl C. Berger, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her residence in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was an 83 year old born in Powell County, KY to the union of the late Betty And Dewey Edward Fraley, a homemaker and member of Means Community Miracle Church.
She is survived by her husband, Earl C. Berger; a son, Earl Cliff Berger Jr. (Jackie Deaton); a daughter, Laura Hardin (Charlie); 6 grandchildren, Nathan Hardin, Jacob Hardin, Charlie Smithers, Kyle Barker (Robert), Heather Patrick and Jessica Koopman; 4 great grandchildren, Jack Sparks, Johnathon Sparks, Elijah Smithers and Harmony Patrick; 6 brothers, William "Bill" Fraley, Eddie Fraley, Donnie Fraley, Steve Fraley (Etta), Ricky Fraley and James Fraley (Hattie); 3 sisters, Rita Miller, Sue Hisle (Gene) and Wanda Bailey (Steve); a special nephew, Terry Fraley; a special niece, Tina Fraley; a special great nephew, Preston Fraley; and a special great niece, Madisyn Fraley. In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gene Fraley and Freddie Fraley; along with 2 sisters, Faya Townsend and Ann Sorrell.
Her funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Tommy Evans presiding with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Charlie Hardin, Nathan Hardin, Jacob Hardin, Laura Hardin, Terry Fraley, Cliff Berger and James Fraley. Honorary Pallbearers are David Fraley, Wendell Fraley, Ray Fraley, Hattie Fraley, Johnathon Sparks, Jack Sparks, Dewey Campbell, Tina Fraley, Lucille Romine, Randall Fraley and Harold Campbell.
