IRENE L (CLEMENTI) ORCUTT

Irene L Orcutt, age 81, of Jeffersonville, KY, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mt. Sterling. Born in Walsenburg, CO, on June 27, 1944, Irene was the daughter of late Sam and Mary Cacciatore Clementi.  While raising their 3 children, Irene and Virgil ran their own businesses in shoe repair as well as trucking.  She was a member of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Group and the Pine Grove Baptist church.

Irene is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Virgil J. Orcutt of Jeffersonville; her son Danny Orcutt of Jeffersonville; daughters Delores Mays of Winchester, and Judy Shanks of Mt. Sterling;  8 grandchildren Kapoppa Orcutt, James Orcutt, Alex Orcutt, David Hargis, Mary Beth Jackson, Amanda Strange, Jesse Orcutt and Judy M. Willoughby;  several great-grandchildren; 3 sisters– Norma Jean Clementi of Arizona, Judy Kelly of Steamboat Springs, CO, Annie Steenbalk of Denver, CO and 1 brother Johnny Clementi of Denver, CO.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 7, 2025, at  1:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist church, 9965 Levee Road, Jeffersonville, KY 40337.    Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.    Officiating will be Brother Stephen Kuehne.

Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers: James Orcutt, Alex Orcutt, Kapoppa Orcutt, James Sanson, Nelson Jefferson, Jasper Burge.
