JAMIE LEE HOPKINS

Jamie Lee Hopkins, age 52, of Mt. Sterling, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Born in Mt. Sterling, KY on June 9, 1974, he was the son of the late Cecil and Betty Louise Hopkins Miller.  Jamie worked hard in construction to provide for the family he was so proud of.

Jamie is survived by his 2 sons: Braxton (Lucie) Hopkins of Lexington and Trevor (Kassidy) Hopkins of Jeffersonville; his sister Cathy Hopkins (Michael) Elam of Jeffersonville; niece Kristan Elam and his nephews: Nick (Lana) Elam, Josh (Olivia) Elam, Matthew (Jessica) Elam, Austin (Samantha) Simpson and Jason Simpson and host of great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his wife Tina Gail Adams Hopkins and his brother-in-law Mark Elam.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Living Water Church located at 200 Fogg Pike, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the National Adrenal Disease Foundation at www.nadf.us/donate.
