Jonathan Bruce Dougherty, age 53, of Owingsville, KY, passed away at home on July 2, 2026. Jonathan was born in Mt. Sterling on April 13, 1973, to the late Robert and Gladys Dacuycuy Dougherty. He worked for Amteck of KY as a License Manager and Educational Director. He dedicated his life to educating and mentoring others in his trade. He loved to spend time in his garage working on anything that needed fixing from little things to vehicles and farm equipment.
Jonathan is survived by his wife Sharie Dougherty of Owingsville; 1 daughter-Natasha Kincaid of Lexington; 2 brothers: Robert Dougherty and Darrell Dougherty; 1 sister-Stephanie Little.
Besides his parents, Jonathan was preceded in death by his sister Regina Willoughby.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8th at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
During the Visitation, the family is inviting any one who would like to, to speak and share memory or story about Jon.
Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY
